Touching! Gospel singer BAHATI pens down a moving tribute to his late Mum during International Women's Day
Popular gospel singer, Bahati on Sunday marked International Women's Day by jotting down an emotional letter to his late mum.
In the tribute which Bahati posted on his social media timeline, he revealed that his hit song "Mama" was a reflection of his inner self and a way for appreciating his mother for the things she taught him.

Bahati was raised in Kariobangi slums at the ABC children's home after his mother passed away when he was aged 7. He was enstranged from his father who sought a new wife and relocated leaving him stranded and alone in the slums.
After his father's passing, he was re-united with his step-brother who took him in the very same year he was set to finish his Primary school education.
In July last yeah, Bahati made his maiden journey to his late mother's home in Makueni County, where he was reunited with his maternal grandfather and learned of his grandmother's demise years ago.
