I’m loyal to RAILA & I’m not an ODM rebel - KIDERO says as he almost kneels before him
Nairobi Governor, Dr Evans Kidero, has said he is loyal to former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, and he is not an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) rebel. In an interview with KTN’s Yvonne Okwara’s at City Hall, Nairobi, Kidero insisted that his alleged disloyalty to the party is just a "creation of the media" and wondered where that notion came from. “I work well with fellow party members. The media should stop creating unnecessary frictions and divisions in our party. I am in good books with my party leaders and members," Kidero said. “I fully understand my obligations and rights as a party member and I will not be intimidated and scared away from the party. I have a right to speak the truth and always do what is right,” Kidero added. Kidero’s re-conciliatory tone appears meant to reduce pressure from top ODM officials who have been demanding his censure over his disrespect for the former PM and a heap of corruption allegations.
